Look Out Hearted days in Plettenberg Bay (Plett) ...
One December, Garden Route town of Plettenberg Bay offered quite a hearty time for your Plett  holiday with Chris Stroebel organising a Miss. Plett - Plettenberg Bay competition event with celebrity judges and all,  held at the famous waves and long LOOKOUT Beach. Just before the event started.., Renico, still looking out... as press and freelance photographer... spotted a girl with a "Look" on the beach in the crowds, grabbed her "Out" the crowd to enter quickly.......the famous heart surgean Prof. Chris Barnard had two looks at her from behind the judge's table...and the winner, all whole heartedly agreed to  ...Miss Plett, Miss Plettenberg Bay was Jacqui (this last minute entry girl ... a good hearted beautifully to LOOKAT and LOOKOUT for... beach winner! Renico took some of winner's pictures for press, magazine and never saw her again. Did see a lot of her photo shoots done in Cape Town published in South African fashion magazines though......  And?.. the one Judge ... Prof. Barnard gave a healthy heart, yes pass.. to many examined and operated people around the world ...whilst Chris has a deck full of people doing the ..Look Out.. thing live in Plett... and on the next Look Out beach trip Renico ended up with a sweetheart Tanya by his side ...having taken some great pics of her before in Joburg, but a heartthrob stole her heart and renico..sweet.heart.less ...

Mary Slater ..a girl came for photo's to be taken at the Hard Rock Cafe as venue....as the make-up appeared on her face... Renico's photographic eye must have focussed ....and just said ...you should be working overseas for magazines. She just laughed at me.....got her number....and it took me more than 3 weeks to convince her and her mom she has potential.....and they also wanted to be sure about this Hard Rock Cafe  owner  photographer model "scouting"...
Renico arranged to take pictures with Mary... raced to Joburg for Frank Fowden hair Guru to add that Oomph. Model Elsie Human did make-up at her Pretoria model training venue for Megan Kruger's Network models in Pretoria..alll were thrilled with the first few test pictures and adding a Plett shoot for first portfolio photos... this new model girl started working solid in Joburg! from there ...all over the world as one of South Africa'smost well known Editorial, Catalogue, Fashion ,Tv faces.....
..

Photographic competitions, Photographic Society Salons, PSSA Clubs, Institute etc........Renico took pics of an exquisite looking Zimbabwean identical blond twins at the Beacon Isle hotel and holiday resort in Plettenberg Bay - idyllic coastal location ......for fun entered the picture and won 1st prize in a photographic competition......I must have done the photographers dance around them.. ...as they became professional dancers at Sun International and Southern Sun hotels later on........ picture dancer career  for Renico... nope
Although... a pictured wedding cake shaking over his head had the celebrity bridal couple get married much much quicker....

Bridget B and the Durban Girls.....
Video Director, videographer ...Renico did video directing for some monthly videography inserts... about model girls and featuring their modelling, life and activities in a day. Creating quite envious stirs at he great holiday Durban beachfront  hotels such as Southern Sun Maharani, Elangeni, Malibu  .......real fun in the Sun in Durbs and also present.... the mom look... loook there mom ....."Haai ma, Kyk daar!" ......nou die "Haaie" se stad..ja

....one of the Durban girls  - a dove lover sent virtually all of Durban's surfers, birds and pigeons flying whilst roller skating on the beachfront at the hotel ending up with ice cream all over her face...maybe a "music" video of fly united.. ..birds, kites, surfboards ......maybe do a safer surfer board walk video....this Sharks super 14 City can been proud girls's split second goals of not lifting ... and dropping her ..... although the soundtracks were not for studio broadcast.....Renico luckily being the stills photographer as well...E6 slides....good soundless film photoimages...

Later found a Durban girl Ali off a picture and then photographer Milan Cronje did a stunning test shoot with her in Joburg for Renico and the model agency. Ali  became a top working model, a real international face.....

Supermodel Frederique vd Wal was a spot first fast - option fast situation....  first options to many and creating a super girl. International model shoots and booking desk operators worked like flight controller in Mauritius. The Mauritius Island's Saint Géran and  Tousse Rock five 5 Star hotels with the little island Ill le suerfs photo shoots pictures becoming passports of  paradise, the  **** high notes of clicks...  and Renico's Mamiya camera turned out pictures ...MaMamiya!...to continue...

Renico's scouting for the modelling agencies in Johannesburg and some professional modelling career finds included Julie Cruywagen, Liezel Coetzee, Tanya Bishop, of which the last three ended up that year in being finalists in the Cosmo Supermodel competition........Maxeen was very chuffed with these models herself being one of the South African modelscene's best faces around.....apart from being an modeling agent....
Lindi van Staden... became after school a great full time working model in Johannesburg, Cape Town later and featured all over Europe.......
Roenet van der Merwe in lighting up "half" of Rocky Street in Yeoville Joburg.....

While Renico was in Joburg , a traveling opportunity with Italian Max Magazine came up, a shoot throughout South Africa assisting photographers from Italy and New York.  Only booking the best  international modelling and local modeling South African male and female models available at the time from the top agencies. Shooting film rolls after film rolls from fashion in game reserves to photo locations in Cape Town and Winelands which  just triggered.. ..shutterclicked Renico...
